Well here I am. After a long journey (both literally and figuratively), I finally find myself in India - somewhere I've felt drawn to go for the last 5 years. I have to admit, it's quite a surreal experience - both exhilarating and scary at the same time! I'm feeling more out of my element than I expected - reflecting on it, I see how it's truly the first time I've ever really been on my own; where I know no one, and am in completely unfamiliar surroundings. Yet, when I look beyond all that, I see how there's also a lot of beauty here (there never really is one with out the other, is there? :o)
The Mooji group have been especially helpful - despite that they themselves have much to do. I got to my room to find a personal welcome letter, followed by the delivery of a fresh cut flower and a hand drawn map of the area. They've outlined everything for me so beautifully, that I have everything I could ever need within a few kilometers. And even though I don't know the language, the locals are equally as helpful - it seems there's always someone around to help me find my way. I'm reminded again and again, that when you listen to and follow your heart, you can't go wrong - you're ALWAYS well taken care of.
As for my juice feasting venture, it continues, and continues to go well - despite the travels! I'm on day 11, and am finding it so wonderfully simple - with a suitcase full of raw food powders, all I have to do is find and add good water. I'm still in awe at how little I think about food, and above that, how little my body actually needs! I suppose, when you give it the right thing, and get nourishment through other aspects of life, there's not much need to eat tons and tons of food. I think the other thing that helps is this fantastic water I discovered - definitely the perfect traveling companion! Many of us are chronically dehydrated, and I found I used to eat when my body was actually craving water - they feel very much the same. For more info check out:
As for the water I discovered - it comes in the form of a portable water bottle with built in filters that not only turn tap or bottle water to an alkaline and anti-oxidant rich version, but also forms smaller water molecules, meaning more gets absorbed, and goes to the cells where it's needed, and less gets flushed down the toilet! A definite bonus if you ask me - you can stay hydrated on less, and at the same time avoid having to run to the bathroom every 30 minutes! Check it out:
